Voor onze klant in Zeeland (hybride werken) zijn we op zoek naar een Manager It operations, op basis van deta-vast.

 

As Manager IT Operations, you manage the workforce responsible for delivering an optimum performing IT infrastructure and IT systems. This workforce is organized in different teams: Infra & Networking, Workspace & Technical Application Management (TAM) and Solution Specialists. As our IT operations are located at project and office locations globally, you should be available for business travel and/or working abroad.

 

Responsibilities: 

• Managing the teams of Infra & Networking, Workspace & TAM, and Solution Specialist and providing mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Manages the IT operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals and identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimization.
• Overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure (servers, networks, and data centers).
• Ensuring the IT infrastructure meets current and future needs, considering scalability, reliability, and security.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to IT security.
• Collaborating with vendors and third-party service providers to acquire necessary hardware, software, and services.
• Collaborates with vendors and third-party service providers to acquire necessary hardware, software, and services that meet DN’s requirements.

 

Skills & experience: 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, IT or a similar field.
• 8+ years of experience within IT Operations with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, networks, services, and regulations.
• Good command of the English, and preferably also Dutch language (written & verbal).
• Willingness for travelling and/or working abroad.
• Excellent references antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
